Our mission is to inspire, train and connect sailors, and share the feeling of this amazing sport with a wide global audience.Through our debut project VR Regatta - The Sailing Game, we bring entertainment and education together through virtual reality (VR). We create experiences to enable more people to sail through the creation of games, training experiences and more."I believe virtual reality can greatly enhance sailing training, be a great way for all ‘landlocked’ sailors to stay connected to their hobby and introduce more people to sailing,"Greg Dziemidowicz, Co-Founder of MarineVerse"What excites me about VR Regatta is how it can be used in an educational setting. For those who have never been sailing before, using VR Regatta allows them to learn the basics and put them into practice without introducing any potentially dangerous elements. This approach will give them confidence to take the next step in their sailing, whether it’s as a recreational or competitive sailor."Stu Gilfillen, Director of Education, US Sailing"VR Regatta is an exciting new development for the sport of sailing. We have utilised this technology as part of our Discover Sailing offerings at a number of events including the Australian Grand Prix, The Volvo stopover and Club opening and Discover Sailing Days. It has proven to be a successful platform to introduce new people to the sport of sailing in conjunction with real life on water experiences,"Gavin Wall, Manager at Australian Sailing a09c17d780 Title: VR Regatta - The Sailing GameGenre: Racing, Simulation, SportsDeveloper:MarineVersePublisher:MarineVerseRelease Date: 30 Jan, 2018 VR Regatta - The Sailing Game Crack Google Drive This game is so we'll designed it blew me away. I had pretty low expectations, but it closely matches my real life sailing experiences on small dinghys. I can see this being a great trainer for newbies that really want to sail someday. Nice job!. After getting my sailing certificate from the ASA last year, I've yet to get out on the water. This game was a great refresh of the terms that I learned while taking the online ASA course for the ready to sail cert, and with the hands on experience this game offers, I feel like I understand manipulating the sail to catch wind, and directing a course. This game is a blast, and I even saw a giant whale floating over the ocean in the distance.. Sailing in VR Regatta gave me the feeling of being a teenager again, when I used to sail on a small ~12-foot, fiberglass-foam Sunfish. This captures the realism of the mechanics of a small sailboat; controlling the mainsheet to adjust the sail, holding on to the tiller to steer, your positioning on the boat distributes weight appropriately & if you lean it shifts, and even the daggerboard can be raised up.(There is also a larger sailboat with an engine and a wheel that you can switch to from the desktop menu.)It all adds up to an immersive experience. Sailing along the islands in the freeform mode is relaxing and enjoyable; there are different times of day\/night to set the mood. There are also solo timed races and multiplayer racing for anyone who wants sailing challenges, and they're reasons to get better at the mechanics of sailing. You're not left in the dark wondering what to do when you start -- there's a voiced mentor who gives you tips in a friendly Australian accent, teaching you what to do and how to do it, and he can be turned off once you get the hang of sailing on your own.Great simulation that's doesn't overwhelm, and is enjoyable & relaxing.
